The Italian Football League

The Italian Soccer league is a series of matches played between various football clubs in Italy. They are all interconnected league matches among the various football clubs in Italy. The club that is at the top is Lega Calcio or the Lega Nazionale Professionisti. This club is divided into sections Serie A and Serie B

The Second club in the ranking is Lega Pro; it rules first division and second division. The former has two parallel divisions and the latter has three parallel divisions.

The next in the ranking is called Serie D, this is a league which is formed by nine parallel divisions and the clubs are divided according to their geographical location.

The first Italian League came into being because of English emigrants in the year 1891. When the leagues began they were separate for Italians and for foreigners. Gradually they merged.

The final move to give a single league structure to Italian League began in the year 1929.

Since World War II the teams that have dominated Italian Soccer are Juventus, A.C Milan, and Internazionale.

The league system began in the year 1978, when the semi-professionals ceased to exist.

In the same year the Lega Pro became a totally professional league and Italy was the first nation to have two distinct professional leagues.

To understand what is the Italian Football league, one has to know what the league system is, it is a hierarchy of leagues which means a team can be raised to a position or pushed behind depending on what position they finish at and the playoffs. The structure is referred to as the pyramid because most of the regional divisions are at the bottom rung.

Footballitaliano was launched in the summer 2008. It is the most comprehensive website covering Italian League with latest news, results, stats, interactivity, live score, goals and highlights. The passion of Italian Football league flows out on the pages of this site and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do! Forza Football!

Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson is one of the best young pitchers in the National League. He has shown this time and time again during the 2006 season for the Florida Marlins. When Johnson is on the mound the Marlins have a great chance to end up on top. When it comes down to it, Johnson is only 22 years old, and has plenty of great years ahead of him on the mound. For this reason it appears that the Marlins will want to get him locked up in a long term deal as soon as possible. Johnson is the type of ace that can lead a team to the playoffs year in and year out with a little bit of help.

Up to this point in the 2006 season, Johnson has compiled a record of 12-6. This is not the best record in the league, but it is a very good winning percentage for a major league baseball pitcher. To go along with this he is leading the National League in ERA with at 2.87. He has also managed to strike out 123 batters, while only walking 60. All in all, Johnson has some of the best pitching stats in the league this season.

As the season finishes up Johnson's stats are only going to get better. With a couple more starts under his belt Johnson will end the season as one of the best pitchers in the league. The future looks bright for Johnson, as well as the Florida Marlins organization.

Head Coaching Changes and Teams to Watch For The 2011-2012 NFL Season

No less than eight teams will kickoff the 2011-2012 NFL season with a new skipper manning the sidelines. In the AFC Cleveland, Denver, Oakland, and Tennessee welcome new skippers, meanwhile, four NFC teams also roll out the red carpet for new headmen in Carolina, Dallas, Minnesota, and San Francisco.

Two of the eight new skippers (cowpoke Jason Garrett and viking Leslie Frazier) are actually interim HC hold-overs from last season when Dallas and Minnesota both fired their headmen prior to the conclusion of the regular season, however, both Garrett and Frazier still must be considered rookie NFL skippers as they are entering their first full season as the man in charge. As a matter of fact, seven of the eight new skippers for the 2011-2012 NFL are actually rookies when it comes to being the man in charge.

Denver is the only team to hire a retread this season as they brought aboard former Carolina HC John Fox to control their destiny, however, it is noteworthy that both Tennessee and Oakland promoted from within as the Raiders moved last years offensive coordinator (Hue Jackson) into their HC slot while the Titans handed the skipper reins to long time player and assistant coach Mike Munchak who has 30 years with the organization. Below is a summary of two possible surprise teams from this years crop of new HCs and what to watch for:

Cleveland: The Brownies brought in Mike Holmgren to run the show prior to the start of last season, being the nice guy the ole walrus is, he gave HC Eric Mangenius a year to prove himself. Unfortunately for Eric Mangenius his Brownie team didn't show up to play for him as they lost their final four games to close out the regular season including the 9-41 drubbing in the season finale that was administered to them by divisional rival Pittsburgh and ended up with a mark of 5-11 for the second straight season.

Needless to say and rightly so, a two year record of 10-22 got Eric Mangenius kicked to the curb. Enter new rookie skipper Pat Shurmur...shur who? Although Pat Shurmur had a decent college playing career as a center at Michigan State, his name isn't one that readily comes to mind when it comes to the NFL as he never played in the pro ranks and when it comes to NFL coaching experience tollied in virtual obscurity for nine seasons as the Eagles QB coach prior to last year when he was a one-year offensive coordinator for the Rams.

Shurmurs claim to fame during his nine year stint with Philadelphia stems from the play of former Eagle QB Donovan McNabb who led his team to five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl appearance, couple that with the play of rookie Ram QB Sam Bradford last year in Shurmurs only season with St Louis as their OC and presto....Cleveland GM Mike Holmgren loves Shurmur, hires Shurmur, and now expects Shurmur to do the same with young Brownie QB Colt McCoy.

The Brownies major malfunction last season was their offense which finished the season ranked a terrible 29th in passing yards per game, 29th in total yards per game, and 27th in points per 100 yards gained, which of course is the reason why Cleveland finished last year ranked 31st in average points scored per game (16.94). If Shurmur can fix what ails this Brownie offense then Cleveland might just be one of the surprise teams this season as their defense really didn't play that bad last year in ranking 8th in points allowed per 100 yards, 12th in yards allowed per rush and a respectable 13th in average points allowed per game at 20.75 and especially when considering how long they were on the field due to the play of the poor Brownie offense.

There will be changes to the Cleveland defense as the Brownies elected to let defensive coordinator Rob Ryan go and brought in Dick Jauron to call the shots. Jauron, who had head coaching stints with both Chicago and Buffalo, knows how to coach defense as evidenced by the statistics that his units posted while with the Packers, Jags, and Bears in previous defensive coaching stints. Most notable of upcoming change will be the alignment the Brownie defense utilizes as they will be switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3, look for the additions of monster tackle Phil Taylor (1st round draft choice) and DE Jabaal Sheard (2nd round draft choice) up front to pay quick dividends along with the return of linebackers Scott Fujita and Chris Gocong and second year CB Joe Haden.

Offensively, new HC Pat Shurmur will be calling the plays just as his new mentor and GM Mike Holmgren did while with both Green Bay and Seattle. Change will come to the offense as well with the implementation of a short quick passing game (often referred to as the west coast offense), when it comes to divisional play this change can only help the Brownie offense against defensive stalwarts Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Divisional rival Pittsburgh is fresh off a Super Bowl loss, if historical trends hold up this means that the Steelers should fail to make the playoffs, whether that happens or not is anyone's guess, however, this much I do know and that is the fact that Pittsburgh is getting pretty long in the tooth and especially on defense, a glance at Pittsburgh's roster from last season shows their players average age was 26.78 years old which was the second oldest in the league behind Washington.

The same can be said for Baltimore as their roster averaged 26.68 years of age which made them the fifth oldest team in the NFL. Cleveland was right up there as well with an average of 26.78 years per player which ranked them third in the league, the difference is that because the Brownies had shoddy records over the past three straight seasons (14-34) they were able to add fresh young talented blood to their lineup and dumped a lot of aging talent this season. Vegas has set the season win/loss total at 6.5 for Cleveland, I think the Brownies get at least to the .500 mark this season......OVER 6.5 Seasonal wins.

DENVER: After losing 12 of their final 14 games to close out last years campaign with a really overall shoddy mark of 4-12 the Denver Broncos decided to part ways with young HC Josh McDaniels and in turn hired ousted Carolina HC John Fox to take the reins. In the big picture who could really blame Denver for wanting to go in a different direction with a new skipper after McDaniels had actually managed to lose 22 of his last 26 games dating back to the previous season>

McDaniels, who lucked out to get the Denver job to begin with, was his own worst enemy with regard to player relations as he constantly seemed to cause turmoil and in the end the players simply quit playing for him. Then of course there was McDaniels dubious at best drafting of Tim Tebow the previous year which cost Denver in a very large way last year as it came back to bite them squarely in the ole behind with the lack of talent and depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Not judging whether Tebow will end up being a good acquisition or not, the point of the matter is that Denver needed help on the defensive side of the ball after finishing 26th in run defense prior to drafting Tebow. In the big picture Tebow has a questionable arm, questionable accuracy and will be a work in progress. McDaniels gave up way too much to get Tebow in the slot that he drafted him in when considering that he gave up Denver's 43rd, 70th, and 114th overall picks to Baltimore for the right to draft Tebow in the first round with the 25th pick. After drafting Tebow and NOT drafting for defensive help, what happened last season?

A check of the final stats from last years regular season reveals that Denvers defense finished dead last in the NFL (32nd) in total yards allowed per game (390.81), points allowed per game (29.44), only totaled 23 sacks (1.44 p/gm), the Broncos defense also finished a shoddy 31st in rush yards allowed per game (154.6) and 30th in yards allowed per pass. Is it really any wonder why Denver got rid of McDaniels? What raised some bushy eyebrows was the direction in which Denver elected to take with regard to the hiring of former Carolina Panther HC John Fox who himself was fresh off a league worst and truly dreadful 2-14 season.

In truth the Panthers fall from grace should not have been THAT big of a surprise when considering the fact that Carolina resided in the same division as New Orleans, which had won the Super Bowl the prior season, and with Atlanta, which was up and coming as evidenced by posting a mark of 20-13 over their previous two seasons.

Carolina simply got long in the tooth as evidenced by posting a mark of 35-30 in their previous four seasons and elected to go young by dumping a lot of veteran talent and bringing in a lot of new young faces. It didn't help any when the injury bug hit them early in the campaign and it most certainly didn't help them when young starting QB Matt Moore (who had played so well in winning four of five games to close out the previous season) suffered a concussion in the season opener and then proceeded to fall flat on his face by throwing four picks in two games.

Moore was benched in favor of rookie QB Jimmy Clausen who played no better, when Moore was re-inserted for week nine action against New Orleans he injured his shoulder and was done for the year. Moore and Clausen combined to tally a TD to INT ratio of 7 to 16 for the season and were the root cause for the Panther offense to rank a dead last 32nd in the league in passing yards per game, total yards per game, points per 100 yards gained, yards per pass and also ranked 31st in passer completion percentage and 30th in time of possession.

Needless to say, Carolina was done in by their shoddy QB play. John Fox shouldn't have that concern with the Broncos who have triggerman Kyle Orton under center and a fast improving Brady Quinn backing him up. Orton is the kind of QB that new HC John Fox likes with regard to his leadership and steady play, last season Orton tossed for 3653 yards with a TD to INT ratio of 20 to 9 en-route to compiling a QB rating of 87.5 and in his two seasons with Denver thus far has thrown for a total of 7455 yards with a TD to INT ratio of 41 to 21 with an average QB rating of 87.15. No Fox won't have to worry about the Denver offense, instead he can turn his attention to what he does best which is coaching defense.

John Fox has a pretty good pedigree as he got his NFL coaching start with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 1986 as their defensive backs coach as well as their defensive coordinator, prior to taking over the helm as the skipper of the Carolina Panthers in 2002, Fox had also cut his teeth as a defensive coordinator for the Bolts, the Raiders, and the Rams. In 2002 when Fox took over the Carolina Panthers, they had finished the previous year with a record of 1-15 and oddly enough were remarkably similar to last years Denver team with regard to defense or lack thereof as evidenced by finishing the regular season ranking a shoddy 31st in the categories of rush yards allowed, total yards allowed per game and TOP (time of possession) and ranked 28th in both pass yards allowed per game and defensive sacks along with a 27th ranking in yards allowed per pass.

In his first season with Carolina Fox pushed his team to a 7-9 finish and in his second year took them to the Super Bowl. Can Fox duplicate in Denver the same kind of turn-around as he did when he first took over the Panthers? I think he can as the Broncos are a talented club offensively and defensively have added the needed pieces of the puzzle both coaching-wise and player-wise to make huge strides this season. Denver has a tougher schedule this season with games at Tennessee, Green Bay, and Minnesota along with home dates against the visiting Jets, Bears, and Patriots, however, the rest of Denver's division will play the same teams. Look for Denver to finish second in the AFC West behind San Diego and by doing so surpass the season win/loss total of 6 that Vegas has assigned them....OVER 6 Seasonal wins.

Take care and be well my friends

Watch NBA Games Online - Watch Live NBA Games Online

Who has never heard of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, or Vince Carter? These NBA greats have been a household name for decades. NBA is the basketball league the world enjoys. All basketball fans dream of watching their favorite teams hustle and bustle in the hard court. But for those unlucky enough to buy season tickets before it ran out, they would have to be content watching NBA matches on TV.

But there exists even more unfortunate individuals who can't even watch NBA games on TV. People like me who have jobs that could extend late at night would have to be content watching the games on tape. Of course, it was never the same as watching it live because other people could spoil the game for you. I remembered asking my friend one time to tape a game for me. He did record it. But he couldn't help himself telling me the highlights of the game and who won the match. The excitement is really gone. It watching the tape felt like watching an old film with no sound.

Good thing I discovered satellite TV for PC's. Now, I can watch NBA games online. And all I really need is a laptop and an internet connection. Even if I were on the go, I would never have to miss a game. I just log on to the site, download, and watch NBA games online. It's sweet and easy. No need to install satellite dishes or any receivers. No need to learn about codes and technical setup either.

With over 3000 channels to choose from, satellite TV for PC's is a dream come true. I get to watch NBA games and all my other favorite TV shows without much of a hassle. Sometimes, I even watch shows right from my computer at work!

So for all people who can't get enough of NBA games or any other TV shows, don't despair. You can certainly catch up on them all. You can even finish watching the whole season in one sitting! As for me, I now always watch NBA games online. The only regret I have is that I should have known about it sooner.

Watch NFL Games Online - You Too Can Watch The Games For Free

Looking for some great football action right on your desktop? Wanting to watch NFL games online? Look no further than two different options. Game Pass is perhaps not the best alternative if you live outside North America, but, this website allows you, for the first time in NFL history of broadcasting on the web, a full season of games. If you have high speed internet connectivity, you may or may not have luck to watch NFL games online as there have been reports of bandwidth problems, especially if you own a MAC computer. I have found the best solution for this.

Any fan of NFL can watch over 180 games in High Definition over the entire season and watch up to 8 games at a time on your computer screen. This NFL action can also be accessed no matter where you are and it's all LIVE! You can get live streams of every Sunday ticket game which allows you to get all your favorite team stats and scores.

As this is new for 2007, it has gained a lot of followers yet, but, I think this is the best internet TV station to watch NFL games online, as there's not much choice. There's plenty of other football action on other Internet TV stations, like on ESPN360, who may have regular football to offer, but, for true NFL game day experience, you can only tune into one station that currently lets you watch NFL games online.

As an avid football fan of my favorite team, Dallas Cowboys, I found that when I was away on a trip overseas, I could watch NFL games online which I thought I was going to miss; all with a click of a mouse button that allows you to watch games from anywhere in the world and was not limited to certain areas of the world. This is extremely important for us die-hard fans who do not want to miss any action no matter what. You will never miss another NFL game due to other commitments.

To experience what I now enjoy is very simple. All you have to do is sign up for the following subscription. Watch NFL games online by clicking here. The steps are simple and you can view them Here

History Of Soccer - Interesting Facts

Soccer has become increasingly more popular in the United States in the last 30 years, with nearly 3 million children between the ages of 5-19 now playing in youth soccer leagues throughout the nation.

Soccer began in England in the mid-1800's, and was originally played by the higher, more aristocratic English classes in their boarding schools and private clubs. The ease and inexpense of the sport quickly moved it ahead as a sport for the masses however. Today soccer is ranked as one of the world's leading sports for commoners.

The London Football Association was founded and 1863 and is responsible for standardizing game rules throughout Europe. In less than 20 years, professional players and teams were hitting the field.

Soccer began to spread throughout Europe almost immediately, with Spain, Germany, Italy, and France all taking up the game b the early 20th century. As interest in the sport grew throughout the world, so did an interest in formal competition. In 1900, the first soccer game was played at the Olympics, with medals introduced just eight years later. Professional players, however, were exempt from competition in the Olympic Games for more than 80 years.

In 1904, The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), was formed, followed by the first World Cup international competition in 1930. A round-robin style tournament that pits teams from individual nations against each other every four years, the World Cup has grown into an international affair, with nearly 200 teams now seeking admittance. Only 24 are permitted to compete.

Although it took the United States years to enter the soccer arena on a widespread basis, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) was formed in 1913. Unfortunately, most Americans preferred watching (and playing) a different form of the sport -- American football -- until a Brazilian named Pele, (considered to the greatest soccer player of all time), joined the N.Y. Cosmos team in 1975. With such an amazing player to watch in America, popularity of the sport grew throughout the states, until his retirement in 1977, when soccer once again took a backseat to football. Following Pele's retirement, the North American Soccer League slowly lost fan support, finally dissolving in 1985.

It wasn't until the men's World Cup competition, was held in the United States in 1994, that soccer interest was renewed among American youth. The Major League Soccer (MLS), was founded in 1993, and began its first season in 1996 with 10 teams and 32 regular season games. More than 3 million fans watched the playoffs that year. By 1991, women were finally allowed to play on a professional level, when the Women's World Cup competition was introduced for the first time.

The interest in youth soccer remains strong throughout the United States today. Sports teams and leagues are now available in nearly every American community. From pee-wee players who aren't even in school yet, to semi-professional high school teams, players of all interest and abilities are now hitting the soccer field for both spring and fall competition. The U.S. Youth Soccer, a division of the USSF, now includes nearly 3 million official players.

Super Bowl Prediction - 2011/2012 NFL Season

Here is a bold one: The combatants in the Super Bowl will be the New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys, and the Patriots will win.

Why? The Patriots will be there because they are the most prepared in a season where most teams will take an extra two or three games to catch up. Also, with the loss to the New York Jets hanging over them from last year's playoffs, they will be anxious for payback.

And speaking of the Jets, the Patriots will beat them in the AFC Conference Championship game. This is the way life works. Win a big game unexpectedly one year - lose a similar game the next year.

And who will the Cowboys beat in the NFC Conference Championship game? The underdog of underdogs - the Detroit Lions. Yes, I am predicting that the Lions will catch a few breaks and win a few games.

It would be no fun to pick a rematch of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Packers, although entering the season, they both look like they could repeat.

Divisional winners in the AFC will be Tom Brady and his New England Patriots in the East, with Mark Sanchez and the Jets being a wild card team from the division. The Cleveland Browns, under the leadership of Colt McCoy, will win the brutal AFC Central division. As always, Payton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts will win the South, and perhaps surprisingly, the Kansas City Chiefs will win the AFC West. Who will the second wild card team be? The Baltimore Ravens, of course.

Divisional winners in the NFC East will be the resurgent Cowboys, with Tony Romo back in place. The Packers will win the Central, but the Lions will get in via the wild card. Sam Bradford will lead the St. Louis Rams to a West Division title, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will top off the South. The second wild card team will be the boring old New York Giants.

The Cowboys will be undervalued this year simply because they were overvalued last year. Super Bowl winners from the previous year are always overvalued, as are the losers. Conventional wisdom on up and coming supports teams like the Jets, but CW usually is a big miss. This leaves people like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to lead slow and steady charges through the season and the playoffs.

Trends lead to upsets, and I usually try to follow these trends. The Browns could have been 12-4 last year, and while they have new coaches, a new offense and a new defense, it looks pretty clear that the new regime is serious about winning sooner then later, and since the Steelers and the Ravens are due for a fall, picking the Browns is not a stretch.

Finally, the Detroit Lions need to bring it all together. The talent is young. It's there. Why not this year rather than next?

So that's it for this year's predictions. Let's talk next February and we'll see if I can do it two years in a row.

Super Bowl Squares - How to Play - Free Football Pool Grid

Liven up your next football party by organizing Super Bowl Squares, a game of chance that everyone can play.

Preparing The Super Bowl Grid

To play Super Bowl Squares, you need 100 squares (ten by ten grid) on a piece of paper. Download one at the link below or you can make your own. Each square should be large enough to allow your guests to write in their names.

Charge a certain amount for each square ($1.00 is very common; $100 pot value) and allow your guests to randomly write their name in the number of boxes purchased (ex. $5.00 gets them 5 squares).

Once the Super Bowl grid is completely filled in with guest names, put the name of one football team (we'll call them Team 1) across the top of the grid and the opposing team name (Team 2) down the left side.

Now it's time to choose numbers for the Super Bowl Squares. Using the ace through ten from a deck of cards (the ten will be the zero), have somebody randomly draw cards and place the number at the top of a column in the Super Bowl grid. Shuffle the cards and do the same thing down the side of the grid.

Now at the top of each of the 10 columns there should be a number written in (zero through 9) and also at the beginning of each row.

Who Wins The Pot

The most common way to determine the winner is to use the final score and the "last digit method." Let's use an example.

Team 1 score: 21
Team 2 score: 14

The last digit for Team 1 (across the top of the grid) is "1."
The last digit for Team 2 (down the side of the grid) is "4."

Find the place on the Super Bowl Squares grid where the 1 intersects with the 4. The person whose name is in that box wins the pot.

The nice thing about playing Super Bowl Squares is that you can alter it every time you play. You may want to charge $10.00 per square, for example or you may want to pay out portions of the pot after each quarter.

It's also easy to organize, doesn't cost much and gets people excited about watching the game.

Sign up to receive a Free 6-page Ebook which includes a blank Superbowl Grid, an example of one filled in plus full instructions on each of the steps mentioned above.

Watch NFL Games From Internet - Watch Free Football Matches Online

How do you watch NFL on your computer

The new technology of internet TV has enabled more than 5 million people in the USA alone to watch satellite TV on their PCs. I personally tried watching the internet TV after I couldn't manage to convince my family that my NFL playoffs were a matter of life and death. There is nothing as hard as convincing your kids or your wife that the family TV is better when used to watch sports like the NFL games.

Try reasoning with them and you will get to know why you get to buy the TVs but forfeit the right to watch it the minute it gets home. At home you are considered an adult and adults don't watch TV... your kid will reason out, and sorry no watching your game tonight.

National Football League on your pc

It was the beginning of last years NFL playoffs and I could not get an opportunity to watch the games from the family TV. I bought one of those satellite TV softwares and installed it in my laptop. The software has made it possible for me to watch the National Football League matches from virtually anywhere. Whenever there is a game, all I do is go to my home office, laptop in tow; connect it to the internet and use the already installed software to watch all my matches in the privacy of my home office.

Sometimes when I'm feeling abit tired, I decide to watch the playoffs from my bedroom. All I need is to extend the internet cable into my bedroom.

These online TV services are also available for you if you want to catch the NBA or NFL games without making enemies with everyone else at home. Or better still if you are traveling and want to watch favorite football games on the internet. I want to show you the service that I have been using to connect to internet TV so that you may also be able to enjoy your games in private.

Satellite TV Softwares for Watching the NFL Series

There are many online TV softwares being sold on the internet which are just BS. You see, internet TV reception is a tricky affair and most of these companies haven't really mastered how to deliver quality picture and sound. Most of them don't even care the quality of service you get after you buy their "software".

I want to assure you that there are still a few good companies that pioneered the development of satellite TV softwares. These offer good service and the quality of their programs is high. Finding the good ones can however be a challenge that may take you forever before getting the right company.

Watching the NFL games with PC 2007Elite Edition

The service that I have relied upon to watch my NFL games is the Elite Edition 2007. They have many sports channels including the NFL playoffs among the many other thousands channels. In addition, the company has also put together radio stations, which you can listen to as you work at home or in the office. The variety of sports channels include ESPN, Euro sports and other extreme sports not shown on normal TV like raw Thailand kickboxing and others.

I used this service last year to watch the super bowl and the other matches of the NFL Series without skipping a single playoff. The good thing is that I was able to record the semis and the finals into my laptop which I kept rerunning way past the end of the season.

In addition I also get to watch many other TV channels including educational, shopping, science, geographical, music videos, among many others. The software also has TV channels from over 70 other countries around the world and in different languages. There are also many soccer channels from Europe, Americas, and Africa.

All this variety in TV channels has a set up cost of $49.95 for the initial start up. The company does not charge any other monthly fees ever after the initial charge. The $49.95 is all you will ever need to pay to watch all the NFL games you want and in a way seems like a steal of a deal.

You can get the same service that I'm enjoying instantly by following the links "RIGHT HERE! [http://pcsatellitetvreviews.blogspot.com]" Robert is a self-confessed fan of TV and writes free TV over internet review articles. Or grab the "SATELLITE TV FOR PC 2007 ELITE EDITION" [http://pcsatellitetvreviews.blogspot.com]

Top 2012 NFL Rookies That Will Make the Quickest Fantasy Impact

As always the NFL draft has come and gone and now its time to see which rookies will have a significant impact on fantasy football this year. At first glance the group doesn't seem as promising as usual, but if you delve a little deeper into the teams you might be surprised about the potential of this years rookie class. We've picked the top 5 rookies and even thrown a couple of sleepers in for those of you that like to take chances in the later rounds.

Julio Jones, WR - Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons traded up for Jones and for good reason, he is going to be a key piece to what is already a potent offense in Atlanta. With opposing defenses having to worry about Roddy White, Tong Gonzalez and Micheal Turner you can expect some big games out of Jones. The Alabama star is 6'4" and 200lb plus, but still has the speed to make game changing plays down the field.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Dolphins

The Dolphins have already made Thomas their starting running back for the 2011-2012 NFL season. With no other quality back on the team, you can expect him to pick up the majority of the carries. His running style fits perfectly with Miami's balanced offense, so you can expect to see some decent numbers out of Thomas. He did have nagging injuries in college but if can avoid the injury bug, you might be able to get yourself a number three back for a steal in the later rounds.

Austin Pettis, WR - Rams

Pettis was an integral part of those great Boise State teams over the past few years and should continue to be a difference maker in the very near future. The Rams were a much improved team last year without a true #1 wide receiver, so it makes sense that Pettis could develop into one of Bradford's favorite targets. Let's not forget that the Ram's play in the NFC West, which gives them 6 games against sub par teams. This fact alone potentially allows for some quality numbers throughout the season.

A.J. Green, WR - Bengals

Green is a tough pick here because no one is sure who is going to be throwing to him, with Carson Palmer more than likely done as a Bengal that leaves rookie QB Andy Dalton or Jordan Palmer. A.J. Green has the ability to be a big time receiver in the NFL but with two untested QB's throwing to him, it doesn't bode well for him. Though, if the Bengals can get any semblance of quarterback play this year, Green will be worth a good look.

Mark Ingram, RB - Saints

Ingram is another hard pick here because he will be in the mix with at least two other proven runners, Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory. He will need to show that he is substantially better than those two if he is going to get a significant amount of carries in New Orleans. On the plus side both the backs that are in front of him are very injury prone and could open the door for Ingram to be the number one guy on a proven high octane offense.

Sleepers

Shane Vereen, RB - Patriots

New England would only have one decent option at running back in Danny Woodhead if Green-Ellis leaves like expected. If Vereen's quickness and receiving skills are up to snuff, fantasy owners might see some significant numbers out of him. Then again there is always the chance the Patriots sign 3 veteran running backs and you don't see Vereen all season.

Delone Carter, RB - Colts

The Colts have decided to work on their running game this off season in order to protect Manning. Last year teams abandoned their running attack because it was simply nonexistent when they tried. By drafting an offensive line early and getting Carter in what some people consider a steal, could prove well for fantasy owners that are willing to take a chance on the rookie. With Addai looking to walk and Donald Brown not exactly putting up the numbers the Colts want, Carter is likely to see the bulk of the carries. However if Addai stays or Brown proves more consistent, he might be regulated to the 3 back, taking away any fantasy value he might have.

Watch NHL Games Online - Watch Live NHL Games Online

NHL or the National Hockey League is one sport that you can say purely Canadian and American. Not all countries have a hockey league or even a single hockey team under their wings. Hockey is a game Canadians and Americans really enjoy. And I'm definitely one of them.

I watched NHL ever since I was a kid. I played it in school too. I loved hockey so much I even tried to join the big league. But I wasn't lucky enough. So I content myself watching the game on TV when I have time.

Watching NHL on TV is good enough for me. But it really is a bummer if the next match on the series happens during the morning. I have a day job so I can't really sneak out of the office just to watch the game.

At one time, I asked my friend to record a match for me. I was too exited to get the tape and watch the game - only for him to spoil everything for me. He actually narrated to me the match in full detail. So when I finally get to watch the tape, it was as if I am watching a replay.

No, recording NHL games doesn't work for me. But satellite TV for PC does. When I was surfing the internet, I stumbled upon this great site wherein one can download all kinds of TV shows - NHL included. I was so delighted I started to watch NHL games online. Sometimes, I even do it from my computer desk at work.

Satellite TV for PC's is a breakthrough, really. I never have to buy satellite dishes or any other gadgets just to avail of it. All I need is my personal computer, log on to the site, and then download all the NHL games I like. Now, I only watch NHL games online and nowhere else.

NHL games lovers will surely find satellite TV for PC a delight. Even plain TV addicts will like it too. With over 3000 channels to choose from, you would never have to miss one TV show ever again!

How To Build A Successful Team - 7 Key Components

How do you build a successful team? Are great leaders born or made? Can you buy a winning team?

Take for example the New York Yankees with one of the highest payrolls in the Major League Baseball. They make the playoffs by winning their division or obtaining the wild card every year, but the ultimate title of a World Series Championship is never guaranteed. Why?

Yes it's true. In sports, there are some not-so-controllable variables such as team chemistry and luck. However, creating a successful team all starts with a great leader who identifies and implements all that is required to build a winning team.

This applies to business as well as sports. Simply replace the sports-lingo with business terminology. Whether you are coaching a sporting team or managing of a high tech company, the components required to build leading teams are the same.

Here are my philosophies to teamwork & leadership that I've applied in business as well as sports:

1) Find the right players. Talent helps because you can't make a donkey win the Kentucky Derby. If you need a Database Administrator, don't hire or promote a Help Desk who played with Microsoft Access.

2) Give each player a valued role. Everybody is important, from your cleaning staff to the CEO. Everyone needs a valued role and team ownership, to create a sense of self-esteem to the individual. Without them, you couldn't be a team.

In acting, the supporting actor is just as important as the lead actor. In Baseball, the pitcher may get all the glory, but someone has to play right field to make a team of nine players. Leave the individual ego aside, don't worry about the glory.

3) Create a unique identity to the team. Give your team a nickname, or better yet, let them decide one. Sometimes that mental edge is all the confidence they'll need. Success is all about confidence. Success is a team spirit.

4) Commit to excellence, not winning. The people on your team must have the drive to succeed. They perform and execute even their simplest tasks with pride.

In sports, winning is the end result of a numerical score. You can win a game numerically, but lose the game in reality and execution.

Thus I prefer to use the term excellence. If you're a janitor, then you set out to be the best janitor out there.

5) Give them a vision. A vision inspires and motivates the players or employees.

What drives them? What is the goal? Going IPO for a start-up? Super Bowl? Money? If you have someone on your team who is there just for the money, punching in at 9 am and punching out a 5 pm, that person isn't going to help your team succeed.

6) Play or work with passion. Every person on your team must love what they are doing. They must be passionate about their expertise. Such individuals don't sleep in very often. They are up early, ready to get the day started.

7) Get out of the way. Sometimes, you just have to give them the ball and let them do their thing. Stay off the field and let them execute!

When you're getting it right, the end result is usually a team whose sum is greater than the individual parts, achieving more with less.

College Division 2 Football - Great Opportunities For You to Play College Football

Have you given any consideration to playing college division 2 football? If not, you should! Thousands of high school football players from around the country, perhaps even the world, are competing for scholarships and playing opportunities at the next level. Pursuing opportunities at the division 2 level can give an opportunity to step out from he crowd and be noticed.

Everyone Wants To Play Division 1

It's no secret to you or anyone else that most (99%) of all high school football players want to go on and play division 1 football. Everyone wants to play for Florida, Alabama, USC, Texas, or any of the other elite schools. However, not everyone has what it takes to be recruited by these schools or even a D1 school at all. That is why you should give some serious consideration to playing college division 2 football.

Highly Skilled

If you have ever go the chance to get out and see college division 2 football, I don't have to tell you that it is high competitive and the athletes are super talented. In fact, many of the players at this level are just as talented and skilled as D1 players, but they may not have had the necessary height and weight needed to play at the highest level.

Scholarships Still Available

One of the best things about playing college division 2 football is that you can still get scholarship money to play. Unlike Division 3 football, these schools can still offer you scholarship money to come and play for them. You don't have to play at the Division 1 level to get a scholarship, you can get help at Division 2 schools also.

Limited Recruiting Budgets

One of the biggest differences between Division 1 and Division 2 schools is the coaches recruiting budgets. The coaches at the D2 level can't afford to fly around the country recruiting players like the big boys can. Therefore, these coaches rely more on word of mouth recruiting and even players contacting them about playing opportunities.

Summary

If you are not currently being recruited by the bigger schools, yet you know you have what it takes to play college football, you should consider the opportunities you can find in college division 2 football. Develop a list of these schools and start making contact with these coaches right away. If you have what it takes to play at their level, many of these coaches will be glad to hear from you.

Pick 3 Lottery Strategy

Here are some great tips on pick3 lotto's.

o For best results bet your numbers to draw straight and box.

o Stop playing guessing games and use mathematics to choose your numbers for Pick3. All types of lotteries is based on mathematics and has a specific formula.

o Certain number patterns appear more frequently in data series, while other patterns go through a delay.

o Historically, pick 3 numbers show discrepancy in their frequency.

o If you play 1 pick-3 straight combination for 1000 drawings, your chance (degree of certainty) to hit the winning combination is approximately 0.632 (63.2%). On the other hand, if you play all 1000 pick-3 numbers in one draw, the chance is 100% that you'll hit the winning number.

o $1 can become up to $500 with Pick 3. The way you play determines how much you win. Pick your numbers, then decide how you want to play them - Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair or Back Pair. It's all up to you.

BEFORE You Win the Lottery - 10 Things to Do

In your heart, you know you are going to win a lotto jackpot eventually. Or else why do you buy lottery tickets? Here is some advice for your head and heart while you get ready to win.

1) Don't make promises you do not intend to keep. It is easy to tell someone: "If I won the lottery, I would pay off your mortgage" or "When I win the lottery, I will buy you a new car" Such statements, even meant as sympathy for another's plight, can come back to haunt you. You may forget you said it. Yet when you do win the lottery, that person to whom you uttered your promise will remember vividly and expect to collect their "due" And if you pay off the mortgage or buy that car, it will not mean as much if it had not been "expected" or "promised"

2) Don't trust anyone to hold your lottery tickets before the drawing. When large sums of money are involved, it is surprising how a long-standing friendship or family tie can become meaningless. Be forewarned: Buy your own lottery tickets -- or at least have them in your own safekeeping before the drawing takes place. As an extra precaution, sign the back of your winning lottery tickets immediately. After the drawing, possession is 99 percent of the law.

3) Stick to a budget. Don't play with money you are afraid to lose. Scared money seldom wins. Keep it fun so that your attitude remains positive. Enjoy it with others by pooling your money with friends, family or co-workers. Not only is it more enjoyable playing with others, but it also stretches your lotto budget. When you pool your money with others, you can afford to use the larger lotto wheels.

4) Have your lotto pool sign a Pooling Agreement. Pooling your money with others to share in more lottery tickets is a great idea, but do not pool your money with anyone without a signed agreement. You may think you are risking only a few dollars. But if the lottery ticket wins, you have put at risk potential millions.

5) Don't be afraid to skip a drawing. To further stretch your lotto dollar, play a large wheeling system once a month and skip the other drawings in between. Or use the money you might have spent (but didn't) on some other form of entertainment. If you have a multiple prize win, you can afford to spend more on lottery tickets next time, such as playing two or more lotto wheels. You may be on a hot streak. When you don't win, stay on a self-imposed budget until you win again. But keep in mind, there is one thing all lottery jackpot winners have in common: They all bought a lottery ticket!

6) Keep your lottery tickets safe. Keep your lottery tickets in a safe place and check them immediately after the drawing. Collect your small prizes (under $600) right away before the expiration date. Most states give you only 30 days to claim small wins from lottery agents. After that, you must mail them in or visit a claim center.

7) Save your losing lottery tickets. Save all of your losing lottery tickets because they are tax deductible, dollar for dollar, against your lottery wins. Receipts for other gambling losses can also be deducted against lottery wins. When you win even a second prize, you will be glad to have those deductions at tax time.

8) Play some low-odds games. If you want to start winning sooner rather than later, invest the greater portion of your lottery budget on the cash-5 game offered in your state. You will win more prizes more often when you play the lower odds pick-5 games. Top prize might be only a hundred thousand dollars or so. Nevertheless, I guarantee that when you win one, you will be very, very happy!

9) Trust your hunches. Although my strategies are scientific, based on mathematical probability, I am a great believer in playing hunches, too. If you feel strongly about a certain number, play it. Your inner conscious mind becomes stronger and more accurate as you use it. Even your hunch muscle has to be exercised to work efficiently. It is very important to think of yourself as a lucky person -- to think of yourself as a winner.

10) Practice saying, "No," before you win the lottery. The most important word any jackpot winner can learn to say is an emphatic "No!" Many jackpot winners have gone bankrupt because they allowed freeloading friends, relatives, neighbors, and others to bleed them dry. If you think you don't have the backbone to harden your heart against endless sad tales of need and greed, then do not accept your lottery win in a lump sum. Opt for the annuity payout and collect your lottery win in annual installments.

Football Pool - How to Organize - Free Football Pool Grid

There are many ways to set up a football pool. Here is one that is very easy to implement:

  • Decide how much you will charge per square. Usually $1.00 per square for a total pot of $100.00.

  • Decide how you are going to pay out the pot. Most common is to pay something at the end of each quarter. You can decide what percent of the pot will be paid out each time. For example, 25% after the 1st quarter, 25% after the 2nd quarter and so on until 100% of the pot is paid out.

  • Decide how winners will be determined. A very common way is to use the "last digit" method. Basically you use the last digits of each team's score and find where those numbers intersect on the grid. If you are not familiar with this method, it is described more thoroughly in a free ebook offered below in the Author's box. It will be easier to understand if you can see the example grid that comes with the ebook.

  • Now that the decisions have been made, print off a football pool grid (usually an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet with 100 squares that can be filled in with names). In case you need one, the free ebook offered in the Author's box below includes a blank football pool sheet (plus full instructions).

  • "Sell" squares on the grid until all 100 squares are filled in with the buyer's name. Buyers can purchase multiple squares.

  • After all squares are filled in with names, draw the numbers that will be filled in along the top and down the left side of the grid. Create 10 small squares of paper and then write one number (zero thru 9) on each. Fold the 10 squares and put them into something to draw from like a hat. Choose somebody to draw one number at a time and fill them in across the top starting from left to right. Fold them back up and do the same for the left side, top to bottom. When finished, the numbers will be in random order.

  • Enjoy the game and pay out the pot as decided.

Football pools are easy to set up and fun for the participants. Why not organize one for your next football party? Or spice things up at work and do an office football pool with your co-workers?

Sandee Lembke from Theme Party Queen.com invites you to visit her site and sign up to receive a free 6-page ebook which includes a blank football pool sheet, an example of one filled in plus full instructions on each of the steps mentioned above.

2011 NFL Division Predictions

nfl playoff

NFL Free Agency and off-season trading has really reformed a lot of teams. The impact led me to writing updated NFL division predictions for the 2011 NFL season.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers (predicted record: 13-3). Green Bay had the biggest upside of the lockout because everybody else had to revitalize their teams in a short week. Instead the packers just cut a few salary cap eating players. I would definitely say that the packers should be back at the big dance this season. Detroit has a good chance with an awesome defensive line too. They should have a shot at wild card if QB Matthew Stafford can have a good year.

NFC West: Arizona Cardinals (predicted record: 10-6). The cardinals made a lot of bold moves in the off-season so far. They acquired Kevin Kolb, a superstar in the making from the Eagles, signing of 2-time pro bowler TE Todd Heap, and signing of LB Stewart Bradley. They also did very well in the draft filling most of their needs with CB Patrick Peterson (#5 overall pick), RB Ryan Williams (#38 overall pick), and TE Robert Housler (#69 overall pick) to name a few. Look out for Seattle too, they made some bold moves but lost out on their starting QB Matt Hasselbeck which I think drops them to 2nd in this division.

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles (predicted record: 12-4). The Eagles by far have the best free agent class with pro bowl CB Nnamdi Asomugha, pro bowl DE Jason Babin, DE Cullen Jenkins, and backup QB Vince Young. They also acquired pro bowl CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in the Kevin Kolb trade to the Cardinals. This division will give Eagles good competition but since the Eagles have the best secondary in this division, they should be able to shut out opponent wide receivers limiting big plays.

NFC South: Atlanta Falcons (predicted record: 12-4). The Falcons traded their whole draft this year for superstar in the making WR Julio Jones getting oohs and awes in practice. This will make for a deadly big play wide receiver duo that no corner back in the NFC South can stop. They also strengthened their pass rush with DE Ray Edwards playing opposite of pro bowl DE John Abraham. The Saints will pose the biggest threat with draftees and signings of RB Mark Ingram, RB Darren Sproles, and CB Fabian Washington.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens (predicted record: 11-5). With Pittsburgh rolling over them in the playoffs they will look to make a splash in the competitive AFC North. They signed pro bowl FB Vonta Leach and got some good talent in the draft including a needed CB Jimmy Smith and WR Torrey Smith to summarize. The Steelers are the #1 threat to the Ravens but with Hines Ward declining in his old age they should look to capitalize.

AFC West: San Diego Chargers (predicted record: 12-4). Last year, the Chargers had a down year by not making the playoffs. They were hit with injuries and promising rookies having poor years. They should be able to get back up again with Vincent Jackson drama cleared up and him having a good year. The great QB Philip Rivers aimed for the moon last season and he got it with a career high in passing yards of 4,710 which probably will be duplicated this year. The Chiefs had a successful year last year but with Matt Cassel at QB, they won't be able to challenge San Diego.

AFC East: New England Patriots (predicted record: 14-2). Tom Brady won the MVP last season over scrambling Michael Vick with a TD to INT ratio at a historic level. The Patriots went big by trading for Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth which strengthen a poor ranked defense and gives them more depth at wide receiver. They looked like a contender last season but it proved too much pressure. The Jets threatened then slightly last season but not enough to make them feel pressured. The Jets will probably not threaten them at all this year losing out on some valuable free agents and with the emerging Dolphins going big this off-season also.

AFC South: Jacksonville Jaguars (predicted record: 11-5). With Peyton Manning at age 35 and having a new 5 year/$90 million deal leaving no cap space to get new players. The Jaguars should be able to gain on the aging Colts with power house RB Maurice-Jones Drew, 2 QB options of Blaine Gabbert and David Garrard, pro bowl TE Marcedes Lewis, and many good defensive players. Jacksonville may be able to get back on the road of success starting with this season.

To conclude, The AFC champ should be New England and the NFC champ should be Green Bay as both teams have good parts to win this season. I hope you are looking forward to this season as much as I am.

Juan "Chi-Chi" Rodriguez - Famous Puerto Rican Golfer

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 23, 1935, Juan Antonio "Chi-Chi" Rodríguez is the first Puerto Rican who was inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Juan Antonio came from a poor family. He is the son of a cattle handler and laborer who earned just $18 in one week. He also has five other siblings. At an early age of seven, to help augment his family's income, Juan Antonio started working for a sugar plantation as a water carrier. One day, he passed by a golf course and found that caddies earned more that he decided to be a caddie from then on.

He started practicing golf by using a branch of a guava tree as his golf club and metal as a golf ball. He would observe how the real golfers play and apply what he has learned from them. Thus, he became a skilled golfer through self study. At the age of nine, he was a proficient golfer and by the time he turned 12, he achieved a surprising score of 67.

When Juan Antonio joined the army at the age of 19, he would often spend his break times to visit nearby golf course and hone his golfing skills. In 1960, he became a professional golfer. In 1963, at the very young age of 28, Juan Antonio won the prestigious Denver Open. From 1963 to 1979, he won a total of eight titles on PGA Tour. He also represented his home country for 12 World Cup teams, received the Hispanic Recognition Award in 1986, named as Replica's Hispanic Man of the Year in 1988, was inducted in World Golf Hall of Fame in 1922.

Pollux Parker is an adventurer who loves discovering secret island getaways in each country he visits. Pollux also likes to collect Puerto Rican flag and buy Puerto Rican flag.

Used Tree Climbing Gear

Used tree climbing gear can be just as good, and just as safe as new equipment. Most people who work in the tree care and removal industry take good care of their equipment because their safety depends on it. Tree climbing equipment is expensive, and workers do not want to have to replace it any earlier than necessary.

Inspection is the key to safety and functionality. Even after purchasing new gear your equipment should be inspected on a regular basis. If you do not know all the procedures for inspecting equipment, have an experienced tree worker accompany you when on a buying trip.

Some used leather gear will actually feel better than new, because it has been broken in. New equipment will cost a lot more and is not necessarily better. The life of equipment used for tree climbing is quite long if the owner follows the procedures for proper care and storage.

Leather that has been cleaned and treated with one of the many products on today's market will remain in as good as new condition. Metal will last for years when handled carefully. A close inspection will show if equipment has been put away wet and allowed to rust and mildew.

Check for hairline cracks in metal catches and safety rings. Ropes should not smell like mold or mildew. Modern safety straps have a colored line that will start to show when they are worn past a certain point. Frayed edges and missing stitches are also a warning sign.

Used tree climbing gear can be a good investment. It is a good way to obtain the tools you need without having to spend as much money as you would for new. If you are looking for tree climbing gear than what are you waiting for, get it today.

The World's Best Binoculars, A Personal Choice

The question is which of the market leaders in the field of optics can lay claim to having produced the world's best binoculars?

It's not too hard to identify those that deserve a place in a directory for the world's best binoculars, optics are specialist bits of kit and there is a clear divide between the basically poor, the reasonable to good quality and the exceptional. However to single out one of the exceptional as the out and out best binoculars isn't so easy given that personal taste and binocular application both have a strong influence in the decision.

What can be said is that for any pair of binoculars to feature in a world's best binoculars list they must create a passion, excite you when you pick them up and make you never want to put them down. An exceptional pair of binoculars should not only have outstanding quality optics but be so well balanced that you don't even know they are in your hand allowing you to observe for extended periods of time in perfect comfort.

Unless you have experienced the difference between good and absolutely superb you won't ever understand how the world's best feels, so, if you really want to know just test a pair of Swarovski 8.5 x 42 EL's against perhaps a Pentax DCF SP 8 x 43. The Pentax is good, very good but the Swarovski is special. One word of warning, don't do this unless you can afford to upgrade as lesser priced binoculars will never seem the same again!!

As I said personal taste is important and there will often be disagreements with one user believing that Swarovski are the world's best binoculars while another will swear by Leica (for example) but what the top binoculars have in common is the manufacturers absolute attention to detail in regards to design, weight, size and balance and the exceptional quality of the optics and optical coatings.

Application is really important because the world's best binoculars for birding would be absolutely useless for astronomy or for the marine environment and binoculars that work well for sports, travel or theatre wouldn't be so good for observing nature or hunting.

For marine use the Steiner Commander binoculars are hard to beat. They are the only marine binoculars to come with Steiner's Nano protection against the environment, they are salt water resistant, waterproof to 10mtrs, have long life NBR rubber armouring, high performance optics, interchangeable eyecup system with a specific eyecup for spectacle wearers and a 30 year guarantee. These are truly professional marine binoculars which deliver an amazing performance in all light conditions, a strong contender for the world's best binoculars in a marine environment. Other options are the Nikon Stabileyes which are twice the price but offer image stabilizing technology or Canon IS binoculars although these are specifically designed for marine use.

If you are after image stabilizing binoculars take a look at the Canon 10x42 WP IS binoculars. Users absolutely rave about them. They are the first binoculars with lenses which carry the red L-series ring only previously found on Canon professional camera lenses, are fully waterproof and have unrivalled IS capabilities (in any moving environment).

For the world's best binoculars for birding you might want to try the Swarovski EL 8.5 x 42's, a truly outstanding bit of kit which delivers a user experience you will never forget. Another great bird binocular is the Leica Ultravid 42 series, absolutely stunning binos, compact (for their class) and yet exceptionally bright.

The best giant binoculars can deliver some stunning views of sky objects and the right ones make an excellent addition to the astronomer's toolbox. Fujinon produce top quality astronomy binoculars (up to 150mm objective diameter) although at a price which is beyond the reach of the average user. The Nikon 10 x 70 IF SP WP's are more affordable and make an excellent pair of astronomy binoculars.

Fujinon also make some of the world's best night vision binoculars but they come with a very high price tag!

For every application there is often a different short list for the 'world's best binoculars' in that class so as a starting point you need to decide exactly what you want to use your binoculars for. This will then enable you to narrow down your search in regard to magnification, size of objective lens etc. and manufacturers generally indicate suitable applications for their binoculars. Always check out the quality of the lenses and lens coatings, don't settle for anything less than fully multi-coated optics and Bak-4 prisms (unless price is an issue for you). Price isn't always an indication as to how good a pair of binoculars is so birding / astronomy forums etc are a good place to find those little gems that perform as well as the known top performers but for a lesser price tag.

Happy hunting for the world's best binoculars.

Free Canoe Plans To Experience The Joy Of Canoe Building

Boats have been around a long time in the history of human civilization. In the olden days, people sailed and paddled boats and canoes to do a lot of the important things in life such as traveling, fishing, hunting, and so on. This noble craft has contributed very well to the survival and flourishing of people in the days gone by. It is just sad to think the less and less people are interested with boats and canoes these days. Many considered it to be only a hobby that is rather passé. It's a good thing that there are still some people who enjoy this age-old pastime. Not only that, there are still people who are trying to engage on a much nobler aspect of boating which is building canoes. This is even made more possible with the increasing accessibility of information which allows people to gain access to free canoe plans.

What Makes of a Canoe?

Canoes are basically boats and have the basic components that most boats have, but there are also certain parts that distinguishes a canoe from other boats. Here are the fundamental parts of canoes:

  • Bow - this is the front of the canoe, it is pointed and responsible for making the boat slide through the water smoothly.

  • Stern - this is the rearmost tip of the canoe, unlike in most boats, the stern is pointed for the canoe.

  • Hull - this is the body of the canoe and is mainly responsible for keeping the boat afloat.

  • Seat - this is where the passenger of the canoe sit.

  • Thwart - situated near the top of the hull, this is a horizontal bar that helps maintain support.

  • Gunwale - this is the technical term for the side of the boat.

  • Deck - under this part is the foam block which serves as the floatation device of the canoe.

Classic canoes are usually made of wood. The early canoes are just made by just burrowing our of tree trunks. Such heavy canoes are hard to transport and is quite impractical for modern leisurely purposes. Today's canoes are usually made of wood strips that are lighter and more functional. Using strips also allows greater flexibility in designing boats. Wood strips are usually cut from cedar trees that have been found to be sturdy and easy to manage. More high-tech canoes are made from other strong and lightweight materials such as plywood, aluminum, polyethylene, wood-and-canvas combinations, fiberglass, and Royalex.

    Canoe Designs

The typical canoe designs feature a point front and back, this distinguishes it from other kinds of boats. In the early days of canoe crafting, people generally followed a basic design that usually conforms with the log being used. People had the canoe plans written on their minds in stead of on paper. Builders freely chose the designs they used for the boats. But as time went on, people became more experienced with the craft. They learned techniques of making boats more efficient and durable. Such techniques and designs were then written to help pass on information about canoe building to future generations. Today these plans are made available not only for professional builders but also the hobbyists. Some of such plans are even sold, and fortunately some of them can be obtained for free.

Where to avail of Free Canoe Plans

Magazines and books dedicated on canoes usually feature good designs that can be used by amateur builders. But one does not need to buy such publications to get canoe plans. Several websites now offer canoe plans free of charge, making this great hobby accessible to many.

    Remote Control Cars

Remote control cars are available in three important varieties - nitro remote control cars, petrol remote control cars and electric remote control cars. Among these varieties there are also many variations like nitro cars are available in-built and out-built versions or the electric will be available in brushed and brushless. The electric remote control cars are easy to use and the newly designed brushless cars are as fast as the nitro cars. The most interesting is the nitro cars as compared to the electric ones as they are somewhat little complicated to use but if properly learned how to operate them, it will be great fun and the small engine gives it a virtual look of the model. The petrol cars run on petrol and oil available in the petrol pumps but are very big in size than the nitro cars and are the most expensive cars among all. A wide variety of models across the full variety and to meet your budget are available.

With the high demand there are high stocks of wide range of inbuilt nitro car stuffs for those who like building models and also using them. These self building its give hours of fun and the moment they are ready they are fun to be used. For the long time of use and fun you will be getting starting from first building to racing the kits are amazing value for the price you pay. If you are using nitro cars for the first time then to purchase a self build kit is the best method to learn about the hobby and know how they perform before going out and racing. Some of these are also sold to the schools as they provide some education and a good introductory to mechanism and engineering. The most vital thing is the instruction manual which is designed especially for smooth construction. The steps are shown clearly with CAD 3D graphics with each and every part labeled.

There are also remote control cars which are powered by proper racing motors which run with racing battery packs. These are extremely speed machines. They are of modular design with good quality changeable parts including virtual working differentials and independent suspension.

Like nitro cars, the petrol cars run with a mixture of unleaded petrol and 2 stroke engine oil which is easily available in any petrol station. This is more cheap and practical to use than a nitro car. You have to just fill unleaded petrol up to the first marker on the bottle and then pour 2 stroke oil up to the second marker.

The 1:5 scale petrol remote control cars are more expensive but do not include every essentials and you have to purchase those separately.

Nitro radio controlled cars, we offer petrol rc truck and remote control car. Rc petrol cars and rc helicopter selection.
