NFL Week 8 Best Bets First Look

*****BEST BET*****BEARS 5 Lions: Interesting divisional game here as the Bears go home to take on the Lions. Detroit won first meeting and covered with a huge fourth quarter and have played the Lions tough. Bears playing their best ball of the season lately and they have type of defense that could give Jon Kitna fits.

******Browns 3 RAMS: We have determined this game to be a BEST BET based on some nice data that certainly leans in one direction. Browns playing better than many expected and Ram are horrendous. St. Louis is home underdog however and this is a winnable game for them to get on the board. One side has a 51-14-1 ATS situation favoring them here.

Colts 6.5 PANTHERS: Carolina has been great getting points over the years and the Colts continue to roll.

PATRIOTS 16 Redskins: Another 16 point spread for NE who are 3-0 ATS when faced against that number. Redskins have great defense to stay in this one though.

Saints 3 49ERS: Home underdog here as 'Niners will get back QB Alex Smith and have a good chance to stop their losing streak. Saints playing good however and could be on verge of extended run since they have a ton of talent.

Giants 9 DOLPHINS: Game will be played in London and Dolphins have lost star RB Ronnie Brown for the season. Giants are prone to playing down to the level of competition however.

*******BEST BET****JETS 3 Bills: Another game that has BEST BET look after reviewing stat that favors one side with a 41-9-1 ATS record.

Eagles 1 VIKINGS: Surprised to see Eagles favored on the road but they have much more talent than Minnesota. Vikings are a live home underdog however and they could surprise.

Steelers 3.5 BENGALS: Another home underdog here as the Bengals will go against tough Steelers. These teams have a long history of playing close games but the Steelers are due to bounce back after a tough loss.

BUCCANEERS 4.5 Jaguars: Interesting game as Jags QB David Garrad is questionable. Buc's can't score however and this could be a tough defensive battle.

******BEST BET****TITANS 7.5 Raiders: Titans will get QB Vince Young back and that should allow them to win this bout. The Titans haven't been great as a favorite however but the Raiders have been bad on the road. One side has a 45-10 ATS record.

BRONCOS 3 Packers: Very tough game to forecast as both teams have holes that could crop up at any point. Packers have had some big road wins this year but the Broncos are always tough at home on MNF.
